I hope you all had a great 3-day weekend and your short week is going well. We have some things going on this week that we want to keep you in the loop.
We have officially started the Vail School District Diaper Drive (. It will run from now until next Friday, September 16. We are having internal competition amongst our grade levels and the winning grade level gets a MavTime Eegees’ Party. You can also donate money directly to Andrada’s Diaper Drive by Clicking HERE.
We have recently started our try-outs and building our new Maverick Spiritline team. If you are interested in purchasing some Maverick Cheerleading gear, please go to this website: https://bsnteamsports.com//

Andrada has set up a lunch account for students in need and we are asking if anyone is interested in donating to that account. If a student does not have money in their account, they currently are unable to charge for a meal. This makes it very difficult, so we set up an account for students to be able to access if they do not have money on a certain day to ensure they get a meal for the day. The PTO has donated money for this account, but we are asking others to donate so that we make sure our students get a meal. We will monitor this account to determine if specific students need to apply for free/reduced lunches or if another intervention is necessary. This Friday, September 9th, is our first dance (“Glow in the Dark Dance”) of the year for our students. It will be in the Andrada Commons and it will run from 7:00—10:00 pm. Tickets will be $5 and are on sale at lunch.
